About the Item
A very fine and large-scale Antique Gustavian or Karl Johan Empire crystal chandelier with gilt bronze armature featuring a center ring with thinly pressed rosettes and foliage between the six candle holders. The diminishing brass rings which appear to float in various layers from top to bottom are adorned with crystal prisms giving this chandelier a light and airy appearance. This lovely chandelier features a total of 10 lights that are strategically placed to create a beautiful glow from within and without. Candelabras are newly electrified and can provide 250 watts of light. Each offers a wax candle sleeve to carry off the illusion of candles.
This impressive chandelier would make a wonderful focal point in an entrance, library, living room or dining area!
