About
Rare early counter balance ceiling lamp model 5018 designed by JJM Hoogervorst and manufactured by Anvia Almelo, Holland, 1957. This counter balance lamp is usable in different positions as it is fully adjustable and can also be rotated. This typical Dutch design lamp was designed for the small Dutch living rooms so you could use the lamp in 2 parts of the room when mounted in the middle. You could use it above the dining table and after dinner you could turn it to the other side and it would lit the sitting area. This lamp is rare because it has brass details which was unusual for that time but typically inspired from the Italians (Angelo Lelli) from that period. The lamp has a black painted arm and white painted details. Lamp is fully checked and professionally refinished in authentic color combination. Looks great again and uses and E27 bulb up to 100 watt.
This lamp is checked, cleaned and is suitable for use in the USA. For US usage you would only have to change the plug or get a holiday converter if needed for a floor or table lamp.
