Art Deco Five Light Slip Shade Chandelier Ceiling Fixture by Crown Lighting Co.
About the Item
This antique chandelier was made by the Crown Lighting Company of the United States and dates to approximately 1920 and done in the period Art Deco style. The fixture is made of cast metal with a brass patination and five molded glass shades with a frosted amber finish. The light fixture and ceiling cap are done with a stylized floral motif with stepped and beaded accents and stylized flowers in the fronts of the shades. The fixture is clearly double signed, once in the casting and with an applied label for the Crown Lighting Company. The five slip shades are in excellent period condition showing very minimal wear or chipping. The posted height dimensions can be altered by adjusting the chain. The fixture itself measures seventeen inches in height, and the cap approximately four inches. Please note the wiring is original and may require updating.
