About the Item

This beautiful French Art Deco six-light chandelier features white frosted molded-pressed glass shades with stylized flower motifs and an elegant bronze frame with three branches, decorated with geometrical Art Deco style elements. The glass shades are signed "Hubens" as well as a "Degué France" mark and number on the central glass shade. Five sockets for B22-size light bulbs. Dimensions: diameter: 60 cm / 23.62 in; height: 80 cm / 31.49 in. Francis Hubens was a Paris-based lighting manufacturer and he worked with the greatest Art Deco glassmakers. Francis Hubens used mainly glass made by Degué but also some Muller models were used for the bronze mounts. The light fixture is in complete working order, but as with all vintage or antique lighting, we would always suggest it is tested and fitted by a qualified electrician.
