About the Item

This Art Deco pendant was designed and manufactured in Germany in the 1930s. The light features a suspended 1930s German pendant design with a distinctive mix of materials and detailing. The fixture is composed of a warm-toned, marbled glass shade in soft dark cream with brown veining, framed by a metal ring. Above the shade, a vertical wooden element supports a decorative textile cord cover with tassel detailing, giving the piece an elegant, period character. The lamp is completed with a brass canopy and rod for ceiling suspension, combining glass, wood, metal, and fabric in a way that is characteristic of German lighting design from the Art Deco era. Measurements: Total height 25.6" (65cm), diameter of lampshade 11.8" (30cm), height of shade without holder and rim 4" (10cm), diameter canopy 4" (10cm). Length of top lamp rod is customizable. The pendant requires one E26/E27 bulb. All lighting converted to US usage.
