An ART-DECO MODERNIST BAUHAUS Ceiling Fixture, in the style of ADNET France 1930

About the Item

An elegant and rigorous circular ceiling fixture, Art-Deco, Modernist, Bauhaus, nickeled massive brass structures including its original mount, ended by a small beautiful and massive brass concentric spherical structure, opening on 3 short arms and circles forming "saturn" like structures around sophisticated glass shades, by anonymous designer, in the spirit of Jacques Adnet, France 1920-1930. This modernist ceiling light is characterized by a high quality finish (all pieces are massive brass/bronze pieces nickeled) and a simple radical design. The spherical sculpted and partly frosten glasses are enhancing the overall minimalist feel, adding a little art deco sophistication and even perhaps chic luxury to the piece. The superb and straight modern quality of this triple ceiling remembers the best art deco lightning manufactures such as Maison Desny, Petitot, etc... Spheres, circles and curves are giving this light piece a strong feminine and even sensual singularity, even enhanced by the subtle evanescence and transparency of the 3 glass shades. Under the line, the straight geometric spirit and the nickel finish on massive brass/bronze unbendable structures, are creating a strong contrast wich increases this minimal lightning's presence. The bulb sockets are original french but can be adapted on demand with simple adaptors or, entirely updated to any international standard on demand...
