Art Deco Opaline Marbled Beehive Glass, Brass & Wood Pendant, Sweden 1930s
About the Item
This beautiful pendant was designed and manufactured in Sweden in the 1930s during the Swedish Grace era.
The pendant features a marbled glass shade, shaped in a beehive / ribbed form, with a warm beige or cream base color and dark brown streaks resembling natural marble. The shade is suspended from a bronzed brass rod and brass details, which is attached to the ceiling canopy.
The overall design is a fine example of the Art Deco style, characterized by its sleek, geometric shapes and use of luxurious materials.
The light has been rewired and requires one E26/E27 bulb. All lighting is converted for US usage.
Total height 27.6" (70cm). Diameter of lampshade 7.9" (20cm). Height of lampshade 7.5" (19cm). Length of lamp rod only 11" (28cm). The length of the rod is customizable.
