Art deco Wrought Iron Peacock Chandelier Muller Frères Glass
About the Item
A large and beautifully designed chandelier from the French Art Deco period. The lamp is made of wrought iron in a very refined way. The lamp is embellished with peacocks on each arm on both sides. It has 5 lights with the original bayonet (B22) fitting. All etched glass shades have a peacock motif and manufacturers signature, 'Muller Frères' Lunéville, France. The lamp is in function order with its original wiring. For U.S. customers it can be rewired.
Muller Brothers belongs to the most famous glass artist in France, Luneville near Nancy, famous for its Art Nouveau and Art Deco glasseware. Their workshop was established by Henri Muller and his brothers in 1895 after they trained with Émile Gallé. In 1910.
