About the Item
This hanging lamp is a rare original from around 1920. It was lovingly displayed in a period apartment in Berlin for many decades, serving as a decorative feature in the hallway. The metal was embossed in a similar way to Münsen, with lovely Jugendstil ornaments. The lamp is in its original condition, and the fringes were probably replaced in the 1950s. And the lamp is so light, weighing less than 1 kg, that it's perfect for ceilings that might not be able to hold much weight. All you need is a standard E26/E27 Edison screw-in bulb, which is pretty much the most common type of light bulb out there.
