About the Item
This is a fine example of Art Nouveau creativity in a two light figural pendant, chandelier. The gilt bronze figure is of a young women, (of course, what else?) apparently flying through the air, arms outstretched, legs in a kicking motion. She is well cast with a well defined bodice on her upper torso and a lose fitting flowy type skirt around her lower torso and flowing out between her legs. She's flying between the two lights with rose pedal glass shades, (replacements), all supported by a stylized reeded gilt bronze frame with stems and leaves decorations up to a standard ribbon shaped crest. A five link chain connects it to the original Art Nouveau canopy.
This pendant would add distinction to any powder room, dressing room or parlour.
