About the Item

Elegant Swedish pendant lamp, attributed to Arvid Böhlmarks Lampfabrik, circa 1930s. The clear glass globe is richly decorated with sandblasted motifs of soaring birds and stylized oak leaves, creating a striking interplay of light and shadow. Inside, a frosted cylindrical shade diffuses the light softly while allowing the outer etched design to remain the focal point. Suspended from a brass rod and canopy with warm, aged patina, this piece showcases the refined craftsmanship and nature-inspired motifs that made Böhlmarks one of Sweden’s most respected lighting manufacturers of the early 20th century. Condition: Excellent vintage condition with light wear consistent with age. No cracks or major chips to the glass. Brass hardware with original patina. A rare and collectible example of Swedish Art Deco/Swedish Grace lighting, ideal for both period interiors and contemporary spaces.
