About the Item
Murano glass chandelier attributed to Barovier & Toso, Italy, 1980s. Chandelier in the shape of a palm tree formed by 9 pieces of hand-made textured Murano glass in the shape of a leaf, and attached to a structure of brass and gold chromed steel. Each of the leaves is backlit by a bulb and is attached to the structure by 2 nuts.
Very much in the style of the glass creations of Venini, La Murrina, Vistosi, Novaresi Milano and F. Fabbian. Post-Modern style.
For 9 E14 bulbs. Original electric electrification revised. Minimal wear on the metal. Murano glass pieces in perfect condition. One of the nuts that hold a leaf is missing (see last photo), but it does not affect the holding of the piece in any way. A chain can be added to increase the lenght of the chandelier if necessary.
