Beautiful Art Deco Bronze Chandelier with Striking Alabaster Like Glass Shades

One of a kind antique chandelier with amazing arms and natural mineral stone shades. With early 20th century lighting as one of our specialities we were amazed when we found this unique light fixture. We were amazed by the quality and beauty and to have found it in this wonderful condition made the experience even better. 'Art and antiques with a soul' is what we strive to offer and this work of lighting art most certainly fits that bill. At the center of this antique chandelier are the bearded, wizard like sculptures in their unique body position. Kneeling down and bending over forward they are reaching out whilst holding onto their beards. These remarkably long beards are like flowing water from which ultimately the light holders culminate. We don't know from which legend, fairy tale or mythological story the artist got his inspiration, but the result is a one of a kind and striking fixture with a mystical look and feel that will never fail to impress. With all five-light burning this small size chandelier will easily light up a regular size dining or kitchen area. All five alabaster shades are in superb condition and the combination with the beautiful patina of this solid bronze pendant...

Marvelous antique light fixture for an entry hall, bedroom or any other living space. With early 20th century light fixtures being one of our specialities, we always love finding unique pendants. This particular work of beauty comes with a very attractive and superb condition alabaster shade that rings like a bell when you strike (that is how structurally sound it is). This good size mineral stone light fixture also comes with the original gilt bronze hinging chain and canopy + a number of beautiful strings / bunches of multi color, art glass, grape like beads. These grape bunches too are in excellent condition. You can also easily remove the 3 glass strings to switch styles (see pictures 5, 11, 12, 15 and 19). This fixture makes the perfect pendant or small chandelier for an apartment as well. Thanks to the hook inside the canopy it also is easy to mount to the hook coming from your ceiling / junction box. We have said it before and we'll say it again...
