This elegant ceiling light is a striking example of Swedish Art Deco lighting design, created in the 1940s by the esteemed manufacturer Bjerkås Armatur. Crafted from a harmonious blend of materials, the fixture exudes both strength and refinement. The round frosted glass diffuser is bordered by a delicately patinated brass frame, suspended by curved arms. At the center of the light, an opaline glass medallion features intricate appliqués in the form of human figures and sea-themed ornaments like starfish and shells. These decorative elements evoke mythological themes, lending the piece a whimsical yet classical charm.
