Bloom 3 flower pendant - handmade edition by Studio Umut Yamac
About the Item
The Bloom lighting collection is designed by Studio Umut Yamac and handmade in their London studio.
Taking inspiration from spring blossoms, the Bloom lights are a limited collection of hand crafted origami lights. Made from synthetic paper, both lightweight and recyclable, the shades are pleated to create 3-dimensional volumes that reveal a layered gradient of colour when illuminated. The pendant features three staggered shades in red and yellow.
The metalwork is available in white/terra/slate finish and the shades in red/yellow.
It is available as a 240V or 120V version, and the light source is a replaceable LED bulb. The LED driver is housed within the canopy and is suitable for leading edge dimming.
The Bloom collection also includes a floor light, mobile and a wall light. They are hand crafted in an open edition, in limited numbers and each piece is signed and numbered.
