About the Item
The polished brass acanthus leaf corona supports six rectangular split link chains holding a black painted bowl with an ormolu pendant. The five polished brass double candle branches fitted with Girard Sudron candle lamps.
Provenance: Chester Street, London supplied by Wilkinson PLC for an Empire Room in 1990. Wilkinson Plc manufacture reproductions of the finest chandelier designs from the 18th and 19th centuries as well as restoring period pieces. Established in 1947 by Reginald Wilkinson, the company remains a family business and produces the highest quality and standards. Wilkinson's holds the Royal Warrant by Appointment to Her Majesty the Queen as Glass Restorers.
