Continental 19th Century Louis XV Style Patinated and Gilt Metal Chandelier
About the Item
A charming Continental late 19th century Louis XV st. patinated and gilt metal sixteen light chandelier. The chandelier is centered by a bottom foliate reserve from where each of the eight extremely decorative arms branch out. Each arm is decorated by beautiful gilt metal foliate movements finished with floral candle cups. The elegant cage centers two tiers of four lights leading up to the elegantly scrolled foliate top crown, original chain and canopy. All original gilt throughout.
