About the Item
Stylish and handcrafted Arts and Crafts ceiling lamp.
This spherical and manly ceiling lamp is entirely handcrafted of strong, lasting and natural materials. The shade of animal hide gives this lamp it's warm and rustic look. This lamp comes with a brass chain by which it can be hung almost against the ceiling or with a drop of about 25 inches. The diameter of this handmade Arts and Craft ceiling lamp is 19.5 inches and it will be rewired for save usage, wherever you are.
The shade of the lamp are made of rawhide. It is a hide/animal skin that has not been exposed to tanning which is why it is much lighter in color than leather. Rawhide is primarily made from the skin of buffalo, deer, elk and cattle and it is hardened/dried. This shade is hardened/dried also and with the light switched on they radiate a warm light and the shade themselve too get a beautiful look and feel.
