A French mid-20th century suspended eight-light forged-iron chandelier. This vintage French chandelier features a central gallery made up of downward facing scrolled iron bands, whereas each perimeter scroll is topped with an iron bobèche and painted candle sleeve at it's center. The lower section is suspended from the top with a ridged central post with o-ring finial and flanked by a scrolled bar at either side. This vintage chandelier from France has an over-all rectangular-shaped appearance with a pair of horizontally set, decoratively cut and pierced iron bars making up the center, giving support to three sets of lights which extend outward along each long side.
