Empire Chandelier, Russia, circa 1810

About the Item

Large eight-flame chandelier of the Russian Empire with cobalt blue glass and fire-gilded arms with cockerel decoration and hanging pine cone. The supporting hoop is connected by four link chains to the ceiling crown, which consists of a glass dome with glass prisms. The dome is finely engraved with small flowers and also ends with a pine cone with a leaf rosette.
