Exceptional Art Deco Beaded Chandelier, c. 1930
A rare and magnificent Art Deco chandelier, composed of hundreds of handblown glass beads meticulously strung like pearls along a silver-painted metal frame in a graceful fountain silhouette. Two elegant tiers rise above a scalloped-edge beaded basket, culminating in a luminous glass ball finial. The semi-opaque, colorless beads—some with delicate inclusions—are punctuated by scattered amber and pale green tones, evoking the refined artistry of Maison Baguès.
Newly wired and professionally cleaned, the chandelier features six sockets, each accommodating up to 60 watts. The listed height reflects the fixture’s body; it can be suspended from any desired chain length.
