About the Item
Top class, Art Deco chandelier with a large ( 21.4 inches Ø ) stylized flower shade and perfect canopy.
Thanks to its large size and good condition this alabaster chandelier will light up both your days and evenings. It is all hand-crafted in the early Art Deco era and because the 'flower pettals' are hand picked and inlaid around the base, the artisan was able to create the perfect patterns with the black veins all around this stunning chandelier. Therefor too this not only is one of the most and largest wonderfully designed alabaster pendants we have ever had the pleasure of offering, it also has the best possible spread of black veins. That combined with some whiter veins and patches that have formed in this mineral stone over a period of thousands of years makes it even more special. So what takes this stunning chandelier to a level of its own, are the perfectly hand-carved and thick flower pettal inserts all around. It must have taken a highly skilled craftsman a lot of time and dedication to perfectly hand-create this remarkable design. For it to still be in this amazing condition after 100 years is like an ode to his craftsmanship. We could shoot many more photos, but you still would not be able to see the true beauty of this shade. In real life (or in person) our antiques always have that little bit more and this stunning pendant is no exception. You can take our word for it. Both with the light on and off its timeless beauty will never go unnoticed. This thick alabaster pendant was made to last and last it will and we are certain that generations after you will get to enjoy it too. The mint alabaster canopy of this pendant too is solid and strong. Another great feature is the matching blackened hanging. Combined with the new black wire it gives this stylish pendant an even more serene look and feel. In combination with the perfect alabaster canopy this light could not be better balanced. So this very rare light too is rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well and thanks to the 'chain' we can also shorten this pendant to a height that would be ideal for you.
