Florian Schulz extra Large Vintage Counterbalance Pendant Light in Brass, 1970
About the Item
Rare and elegant, early version of large counter balance pendant light by Florian Schulz, made in Germany in the 1970s.
This model is out of production since the 1980s.
The pendant lamp is adjustable in height from 49,5in to 94,5in ( 125cm to 250cm) by changing the height of the heavy brass sphere.
The construction is made of polished brass, equipped with a fabric cable, brass ball counter-weight and brass dome.
The lamp is hand-crafted and made of extremely high quality (Made in Germany).
It has a distinctive character and minimalist charm.
The company Florian Schulz was founded in 1949 and closed in 2018.
Lighting: takes three large Edison E27 base screw bulbs.
Wattage: we recommend up to 60W per bulb. Works on 220v as well as 120v.
Condition: very good vintage condition. The pendant was restored with new fabric wire and polished, there are very small vintage signs. ( see pictures).
Wiring: the lamp has been tested with US American light bulbs under 120v and works flawlessly, no tools or rewiring required. Delivery without bulbs.
