About the Item
Elegant Mid-Century Modern vintage German made large polished brass hanging flush mount ceiling light or lamp model 'Sela 55' designed by Florian Schulz circa early 1970s. Featuring a lacquered polished brass (now with age related patina) circular round disc - with a brushed brass finish on the inside to reflect the light on to the ceiling - giving you perfect, indirect, lighting. The round circular shaped brass shade make this the perfect modernist style dining room table light or lamp. This piece lends itself to any modern home decor as well as the Mid-Century Modern or Hollywood Regency style home. Heavy and solid quality piece. This is a beautiful model from the Florian Schulz range of lights to find and is in good vintage condition with a few scratches to the lacquered finish. We would be happy to remove the lacquer and polish the piece, leaving it with a 'live' finish if you would prefer. Please contact us, prior to ordering, should that be your preference.
Original EU wiring present and in good working order. - requires five E26 / E27 light bulbs - 60 watt max.
