About the Item

A stunning and very unique French 19th century Louis XVI st. wrought iron, gilt metal, ormolu, and crystal chandelier. The ten arm chandelier is centered by an exceptional and most decorative array of cut and etched crystal pendants below the elegantly scrolled arms. Each arm is adorned with exceptional charming gilt metal leaves leading to beautiful octagonal glass bobeches and foliate ormolu candle cups. The central fut is encased in magnificent crystal elements and centered by a row of richly chased ormolu acorn finials and lovely very unique crystal garlands with intricate pierced ormolu accents. The top crown displays outstanding scrolled wrought iron movements also adorned with most decorative gilt metal leaves and beautiful cut crystal pendants.
