About the Item

This magnificent frosted glass chandelier combines the soft finish of molded Art Deco glass with the striking forms of a Gothic wrought iron frame. The central domed glass bowl is molded with stylized geometric patterns and sits within a round frame decorated with openwork spirals and a twisted border. Four taper candlesticks extend past the main body and feature candle dishes shaped as full flower blossoms. The chandelier hangs from elaborate scroll-forged iron hardware and a hand-worked canopy shaped like a four-point crown. The pendant is hardwired and secured by a simple chain and ceiling mount. From the collection of Frances and Gary Comer.
