French Mid-19th Century Wrought Iron Twelve-Light Chandelier

About

A very impressive and large scale French mid-19th century wrought iron twelve-light chandelier. An acanthus leaf bottom finial is below four twisted iron supports, decorated with scrolled serpents. Above each base are three candle cups with rook shaped saucers balanced by a large scale twisted ring below accented by a scrolled mythical character. The thin and elongated twisted wrought iron fut is ends in a ring top. The height from the base of this chandelier up to the first ring is 52" high.
