French "Orientalist" Three-Light Enameled Brass Gasolier with Art Glass Shades
About the Item
This highly unusual gas fixture has been converted to electricity but in every other respect is unchanged. From a central sphere three arms extend, each with charming original gas cocks modelled as fleurs de lys and hung with pendant crescents. Each shaped arm supports a period art glass shade, fluted, swirled and frilled. The whole is incised and boldly enameled in red and blue.
