About the Item
The Gia lighting collection consists of hand blown glass adorned with hand built porcelain plants. The glass pieces are offered in three forms: globe, lantern or bell. The handcrafted porcelain ornaments are cast from live succulent plants. The shapes and sizes of the plants have been selected to complement the form and scale of the glass model it accompanies.

AVRAM RUSU STUDIO
Avram Rusu Studio is a multidisciplinary design studio known for distinctly sculptural work. Founded by architect Andreea Avram Rusu in 2004, the Brooklyn based company specializes in finely crafted and beautifully detailed products made in the US. The studio works closely with many New York based artists and artisans including glass blowers, ceramic artists, metal workers, machinists, finishers and wood workers. All pieces are designed, and prototyped in the Avram Rusu Brooklyn studio.
Hand blown glass: ivory, amethyst, fuchsia, pink, grey or black.
Ornament: glazed porcelain - white, black, gold, silver.
Hardware: polished Brass or polished Nickel.
