Stunning alabaster light fixture of great quality and condition. This rare design and polished to perfection alabaster chandelier from the heydays of the European Art Deco era will never fail to impress you (or anyone visiting) and it is certain to light up both your days and evenings. Its remarkable, circular and layered shade is all hand carved out of one solid rock of alabaster. The way the natural veins (that were created over thousands of years) perfectly flow into each other from the one layer to the next, are proof of that. We have shot photos from all angles so that you can see most of (if not all) of the unique (more translucent) veins and patches as well and the marvelously polished surface makes this light even more special. The stunning layered Art Deco shade is perfectly flat at the bottom and with the layers being as perfect as they are, we believe, this could very well be another one of our once in a lifetime finds. A few hairlines on the inside of this shade have been professionally reinforced, which is why this stunning shade is again as strong and structurally sound as the day it was handcarved one century ago. So this not only is one of the most stylish Art Deco alabaster lights we have ever had the pleasure of offering, it also is in superb condition. Especially with the mint and matching design alabaster canopy AND the superb replacement 'rope chain' this light fixture is a true eye-catcher. We could shoot many more photos, but you still would not be able to see the true beauty of this stunning light fixture. In real life (or in person) our alabaster lights always have that little bit more and this remarkable and pure Art Deco pendant certainly is no exception. This perfectly balanced pendant also is rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well and it will easily take a 150 watt bulb. Thanks to its timeless design this light fixture will look great in all kinds of interiors and thanks to the metal hook inside the mint alabaster canopy, mounting this light to your ceiling can be done in a matter of minutes.
