Gothic Cathedral Style Hanging Lamp
About the Item
In true Gothic fashion, these lamps illustrate the style of light common to many cathedrals of the time yet devoid of any religious symbols. Lights are of grand scale consisting of six sides that hold milk glass panels. Inside the electrical fittings include 6 sockets facing towards the outside of the fixture and then a seventh bulb pointing down. When lit, these lights are truly spectacular. One glass panel is removable as well as the bottom grate making easy access to the interior workings. If you are a fan of the TV show Gotham, you will recognize a stunning resemblance to the lights used within the police precinct building. The lights we have are nearly identical to those in the show. Height can be adjusted by adding chain links. The color on the fixture is copper/bronze. The total height from the base to the circle on top is 41.5”. The fixture from base to the top of the frills is 28”. NOTE: Each lamp weighs about 30 pounds.
