Gothic Chandelier Carved with Jesters and Lanterns, France, circa 1900
About the Item
Imposing chandelier / suspension / pendant in oak, composed of 3 branches with at the end of each a jester / buffoon holding a lantern. The branches are joined by a turned wooden baluster.
The jesters are carved from basswood.
The lanterns are in wrought iron, with yellow and blue cathedral glass, and white glass.
4 lights in total: 1 central light and the 3 lanterns.
Neo-Gothic / Gothic Revival style, France, circa 1900.
In good condition, new electricity.
