This exquisite Gustavian-era chandelier from circa year 1800 is a fine example of Swedish neoclassical design. Crafted from gilt bronze and brass, the frame is adorned with lion head motifs around the ring, adding a regal touch. The high-quality crystals are meticulously arranged in cascading tiers, creating a brilliant display of light.
A distinctive feature is the elegantly curved arms, shaped like the number 5, holding four candleholders, along with a central "saving light" (the candleholder inside the chandelier)—a classic Swedish element.
The chandelier is in very good condition, preserving its original craftsmanship and charm. A refined piece showing a historic yet timeless statement of Swedish Gustavian elegance.
