Handcrafted artist 1950s parchment paper bag lamp
About the Item
This small lamp is exceptional, extremely rare and its shape is spot on, and despite its size it draws the eye. The shape of this lamp shows that someone with a feel for the right design was at work here. Despite the simple natural raw materials that were used, this is precisely why a work of art in the form of a lamp was created. This lamp gives off a very warm and pleasant light and is in good condition despite its age. Some of the seams have been renewed using authentic raw materials. The lamp comes from the home of a school principal whose husband was an architect. The house was built in the 1950s and this lamp was purchased at that time. Despite its small size, it has an E27 lamp thread, which is the most common lamp socket, meaning you can screw in a variety of different bulbs depending on your taste.
