About the Item
Mid-Century bamboo and rattan globe pendant or Lantern by Louis Sognot, France, 1950s. This beautiful suspension light is entirely handcrafted in bamboo and rattan, with a central cylinder parchment lamp shade provinding a warm and pleasant light. The chain is composed of rattan links topped by a rattan canopy. This pendant is in excellent vintage condition, no damages, rewired. It takes one large sized E27 screw base bulb. LED bulbs can aso be used.
Height including chain and canopy: 25" / 63.5 cm, chain can be shortened to adjust it to the desired height.
Diameter: 14" / 35 cm
Globe: Diameter 14" / Height 13" (35 cm x 33 cm).

It has been carefully restored and newly wired with beige twisted cotton cloth electrical wire and an E27 bulb holder.
