About the Item
Hauri: In the Huichol Indian tradition, the “candle of life” that lights the luminous sky during the sacred pilgrimage to Wirikuta.
A perfect handcrafted marble sphere, apparently a single piece, separates in two to reveal multiple possibilities. Whether as a candleholder, a vase for small flowers or a simple accent piece, Hauri brings its own golden light to a room, with an in-laid brass detail that brings out the rare, unrepeatable patterns of the marble. Hauri is available in black or white and includes a brass insert ring.

But I dreamed for a long time a lamp of this kind,
I dreamed a piece of marble,

Hiding such a powerful light inside wasn't easy: the challenges were represented by the small thickness of the object and the light emission that, according to my vision, had to be released both upwards and downwards.
