About the Item

Largest ever pair of Medieval Style chandeliers, over 5 feet tall. With 20th century lighting as one of our specialities we have seen and sold all kinds of light fixtures, but never before had we seen a pair of hand-forged chandeliers of this amazing size. These Medieval Style chandeliers truly are fit for a castle, but they could also look great in a large restaurant or any other type of venue /space where groups of people are entertained, provided ofcourse that there is a high ceiling. We would not know where else in the world you would still be able to find and buy chandeliers like this. With the prices of materials, but especially of man hours going through the roof, having a pair of this size and quality made in this day and age would cost you an absolute fortune. Provided you can still find someone capable of hand-forging pieces of this size. The frames of these two giant chandeliers are made of thick wrought iron (all hand-forged), as are the six pairs of arms on each. The golden colored decoration, such as the hand-hammered accanthus leaves curling up along the base and the Gothic trefoil symbols in the crown on top are made of a type of sheet metal. The stylish flower rosettes (around the sockets) and the torch design light in the center of this chandelier too are hand hammered, but they are of a thicker sheet metal. Both these, fit for a king (or knight), chandeliers come with a chain and a large and height adjustable canopy so that they can also be hung about three feet from the ceiling. Since we have no room large enough and no ceiling high enough to present these properly, we have made photos of them in front of one of our facilities. Mind you, there are no missing pieces and any small damages that you might see in our photos will be taken care off and we will give them a rub and a wax so that they will again look exactly like they should. These larger than life chandeliers will also arrive rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate in the country where they will again be used and enjoyed. In the right space they will look amazing and we are certain that people with a good eye will compliment you on these rare and truly impressive works of lighting art. The ancient look and feel that these rare and large chandeliers bring to the table (no pun intended) could create just the perfect atmosphere you are looking for.
