Mid-Century French Gothic Wrought Iron Six Light Chandelier
About the Item
This intricate antique iron light fixture was forged in France circa 1960. Round in shape, the Gothic chandelier features scrolled decor under the large circle. The fixture is secured with four chains connected to a decorative canape at the top. The Medieval style fixture has six scroll arms supported by scalloped bobeche plates; each light newly wired is dressed with decorative candle sleeve cover. The medieval, old-world chandelier is in excellent condition and adorns the original patinated bronze finish embellished with gilt accents throughout. The elegant fixture would make a wonderful statement in an entryway, a powder room, or over a breakfast table.
