About the Item
This huge Art Deco style chandelier decorated for many years the staircase of the prestigious 5 star Grand Hotel ""Les Trois Rois" in Basel, Switzerland.
A ceiling lamp of impressive dimensions with a diameter of 180 cm and a height of 180 cm. The long chain allows a much higher mounting.
The luster is built in 4 levels. The top level is three-armed, the two middle levels each six-armed and the lowest level twelve-armed. At the end of each arm, an alabaster bowl is held by an alabaster cone that is illuminated in itself. The metal frame of the lamp is matt nickel plated.
When unlit, the composition of silver and white looks very noble. If the alabaster bowls are illuminated, the full elegance unfolds in warm shine, without dazzling.
