About the Item
This hand made cubist style chandelier is made entirely from copper.
The shade is made up of two pieces. The lower half is suspended under the upper part with hooks and brackets.
Inside there are 5 sockets. One on each corner and one in the center. Mounted on a heavy chain.
The chain is also handmade from copper.
The surface has a brushed copper effect.
Made in the 1960s in Germany. No stamps, decals or signatures can be found.
The style can be described as Scandinavian and pieces by Hans Agne Jakobsen, Curtis Jeré and Jules Wabbes come to mind.
