This marvelous, early 20th century alabaster and bronze work of lighting art is another one of our recent and great finds. This rare, possibly unique and definitely large Art Deco light fixture is hanging from its original, finely detailed and beautiful bronze chain & canopy. The extra large, beautifully rounded shaped and rare beige alabaster with the giraffe-like dots is the perfect shade to complement the stylish and magnificent chandelier and is an absolute joy to own and look at. However, what makes this exceptional chandelier truly Art Deco (as in Decorative art), are the five stylized bronze lizards or geckos. Clinging onto the side with their mouths open these eye-catching creatures can either be used as lights, as candle holders or purely for their decorative beauty. Both with the light switched on and off this handcrafted work of beauty will never fail to impress, but especially with the lights switched on inside the alabaster bowl, the silhouettes of the lizards make this pendant truly come to life. This stunning pendant too is rewired for safe and immediate usage the world over.
