Italian 19th Century Neoclassical Patinated Eight-Arm Chandelier

About the Item

A wonderful and most unique Italian 19th century Neo-Classical patinated eight arm chandelier. The chandelier is centered by a lovely foliate bottom inverted finial below striking Les Oves and acanthus leaf movements. Each elegantly scrolled arm also displays fine acanthus leaves, a fluted design and foliate candle cups. At the center is a most decorative fish scale like overlapping pattern leading up to the wonderfully executed foliate and spiral fluted circular tapered central fut. Above is the fine foliate top crown. All original patina throughout. * Shades are shown for display purposes only.
