About the Item

A very big colored Murano chandelier from Venetia in Italy. The chandelier was made in the mid-century period. The chandelier has a total of 16 arms. 12 of the 16 arms have a light bulb and the remaining 4 arms have an ornated peak. At the top of the chandelier are another four light bulbs. Each glass element is mouth-blown by hand. In the detailed images, you can see the colorful spectrum of the Murano manufacturer. The entire manufacture of the chandelier is attributed to the famous Murano artist, Galliano Ferro, and dated 1950s. The chandelier is complete and has no broken parts. The chandelier comes together with a "Certificate of Authenticity" signed by an authorized expert for Murano glass from Italy. This beautiful and colorful Murano chandelier has a very imposing presence and would illuminate even the stalest of rooms. The chandelier has four level, the first level is made up of 4 uniquely shaped glass elements. The upper element is a beautiful bowl-shaped flower with blue and see through flower pedals, followed by one seetrough crystal ball and one round cone-shaped glass piece. The last element is a glass bowl with a turquoise engraved edge. On top of the glass bowl are six hanging leaves, partially embedded with 24-karat gold, 3 colored flowers; blue, turquoise and pink and three upright leaves with little flower ornaments attached to them. Going further down to the second level, you will notice a partially pink glass flower element in the center, which is surrounded by four elegantly curved arms with a light bulb on top a porcelain ornament. At the end of each arm, there is a bowl-shaped glass piece with pink edges. Those bowls are ornamented with a variety of hanging leaves, colorful flowers and fruits. The third level of this sublime piece of art contains eight arms, four of those arms are for lighting purposes, which are embedded in a glass bowl ornamented with see-through and blue petals. The other four arms are purely for decoration purposes and show a variety of leaves and flowers with a great array of colors. The fourth level is made up of eight arms and a few poopy flower elements with a red edge. Like on the third level the lighting is embedded in a bowl-shaped glass piece with marvelous looking fruits attached to each arm. You may also notice the glass ornament in the center with a dangling turquoise and pink fruit which rounds of this excellently crafted Murano chandelier Measurements: 170 cm (H) x 135 cm (W) x 135 cm (D) 66.93 in (H) x 53.15in (W) x 53.15 in (D). The chandelier would make an eye-catching addition to any of your interior pieces and could complement your living room, family room, screening room or even the office. The chandelier is in good condition, it was cleaned and rewired. A few flowers and leaves were replaced. It is operating with a European Plug (250 V) and has E14 as size for the light bulbs.
