Chandelier, handblown and structured glass, metal, Italy, 1970s
Dazzling Italian chandelier consisting of multiple, handblown glass plates. Each plate in structured glass features a unique decorative motif in an orange color. These dynamic lines catch the eye and give the chandelier an exclusive look. The glass is arranged in circles in five different layers that get smaller. This shape gives the chandelier a nice and elegant feeling. Warm, atmospheric light shines through the structured glass. Thanks to this light, the graceful relief on the glass facets is emphasized. The chandelier reminds of designs made by AV Mazzegga.
