Italian Space Age Pendant Lamp in Metal with Glass Spheres, 1980s
About the Item
Fantastic and rare "Space Age" hanging lamp from Italy's 1980's in shiny red-orange metal with glass spheres of different sizes attached inside the lamp's dome.
Reminds to a big wonderful Jellyfish.
The glass balls are attached by means of metal chains to a star-shaped suspension device, which is located inside the lamp ball.
Above each glass ball is a metal cap, some of which have small defects.
Allover very good vintage and working condition with new electrics and new bulb holders for 3 small candelabra bulbs max. 40W.
The total height with chain (adjustable) is 110cm (43.3in).
