TEMDE MARKED MINIMALISTIC TEAK & MOULDED GLASS 16 LIGHTS (+ 1 SHADE RESERVE) CHANDELIER , GERMANY 1960s
DIAMETER 19,5" / 50cm HEIGHT OF THE BODY 14"/ 36cm TOTAL ORIGINAL HEIGHT 40"/ 102cm
This elegant chandelier is a timeless and elegant masterpiece of German Furniture Design. The light sculpture impresses with a japanese ZEN character - clear lines, lightness and perfect craftsmanship of the materials wood and glass. The teak and silver plated surfaces show only minimal signs of life. The lamp is in very good vintage condition, technically correct with Edison sockets (E14).
The 16 (+1 for reserve) moulded and clear glass shades are good with minimal unvisible spallings. You can switch the chandelier with 0/8/16 lights.
