Large Art Deco Style Pendant / Flush Mount with Jupiter Like Alabaster Shade
About the Item
Large and marvelous 19.7Ø alabaster shade light fixture with unique patterns.
With light fixtures being one of our specialities, we always love finding unique pendants and flush mounts that we have never seen before. This particular work of beauty comes with a very attractive and superb condition alabaster shade and we believe that those of you who are interested in the planets of our 'nearby' universe may also feel you are looking at Jupiter. In that respect too, Mother Nature and her natural materials never seize to amaze us. Besides very attractive, this shade also is in superb condition and with its amazing and multi amber-colors it is the first one of its kind we have ever seen. The unique shade is a little hard to date, but we found a greenish-bronzed brass stem from the 1920s with an adjustable-in-height canopy that perfectly enhances the design and colors of this heavenly (no pun intended) light fixture. What makes this one of a kind shade extra special are ofcourse the different soft color patches, the unique dott patterns, the colorful veins, but also the more translucent veins. Especially, because of the way they 'swirl' around the surface. Both with the light switched on and off they really paint a picture that is unlike anything you have ever seen. Thanks to the hook inside the canopy this light also is easy and safely mounted onto your ceiling in just a few minutes. We have said it before and we'll say it again, but this alabaster light too looks even better in real life than in our photos. This finest pendant also is rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA and you can easily use three 100 watt, E26 American bulbs. However, three times 60 watts will suffice (like we did in our photos). This flush mount will also take LEDs.
