About the Item
Large two piece glass globe with a nice wrap-around black stenciled design from the crossover period from Art Nouveau to Art Deco. Would have been seen in department stores, libraries, churches or bank lobbies in it day.
Glass in excellent condition with no noticeable chips and no cracks. Shown on a new nickel plated down rod fitter, which can be adjusted to fit your needs, usually at no extra charge.
A good size fixture for today's kitchens at 12 inches across. The drop as shown is 28 1/2" with just the two piece glass globe at 17" high.
The metal band holding the two sections together comes apart for easily changing the light bulb -which you shouldn't have to do since you will be using LED bulbs, right?
150 watt max incandescent bulb and 40 watt LED bulb.
Rewired to UL standards including code required ground wire.

Having this hanging in any room is really nothing short of spectacular!
Although nothing in the image really gives it a good sense of scale, these looks pretty large in life. Nice size for an open kitchen, dining room, or for a statement entryway fixture. The blue color is pretty accurate in the images with the light bulb off. Once lit the shade shows a milky blue color.
