The explosion proof globes have always been a favourite of mine and I offer a number of different examples with a 5 inch diameter. But I have never seen an explosion proof fixture with a thick glass 8 inch diameter. The impressive scale of this unique Industrial lamp gives it a striking appearance. The heavy glass screws into a two-piece top of brass and cast iron. The globe has the feel of small fish bowl. This is a nice dramatic Industrial pendant.
