About the Item

A large ornate bronze chandelier in the Rococo manner with a highly ornate bulbous stem terminating in a large flattened orb and from which the twelve scrolling, acanthus clad branches emanate. A delightful pineapple in a cup is a central feature within a cage of three scrolling acanthus branches. Each candle cup is formed of overlapping leaves. English, mid-20th century.
